Counseling Services
Performing the Spiritual Works of Mercy
In 1994 Catholic Social Services began a community-based mental health service delivery system implemented throughout the Diocese of Lincoln, which covers Southern Nebraska.
Guided by our mission statement and in efforts to fulfill our agency goals, the CSS Clinical Psychology program provides a continuum of services. To effectively meet the needs of the Diocese of Lincoln, CSS operates the Immaculate Heart of Mary Counseling Center in Lincoln (with an outreach in Auburn). It utilizes services such as publications, mailings, public speaking, training workshops, organizational development, and consultation.
In order to address specific, individual concerns, direct services are used which include 1-800 access numbers, an emergency paging system, along with additional services.
Our staff includes Licensed Psychologists and Licensed Mental Health Practitioners dedicated to the development, protection, and preservation of the Catholic Culture. This is accomplished within a mental health context focusing on the spiritual, psychological, and physical needs of our clients, their families, and the community.
