Lincoln Breakfast and Lunch Program

"If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one." ~ St. Teresa of Calcutta

Volunteers from Christ in the City (click the photo for more information about this innovative program) visiting with our lunch guests.

The Lincoln Breakfast and Lunch Program began several years ago as an outreach project launched by a group of volunteers. Every weekday, we provide meals to those who need them, no questions asked. Before the pandemic, volunteers served sack lunches to the homeless and working poor. Currently, we are setting meals outside our doors at 22nd and O St. (8-10 am for breakfast and 10 am-noon for lunch) for contactless, "to-go" healthy nourishment. Our sandwiches are prepared weekly by the Knights of Columbus.

Donations to the Lincoln Breakfast and Lunch Program can be dropped off at our offices located at 2241 O Street. We gladly accept protein and granola bars, fruit cups, and other smaller items that are individually packed.
